Screening Flyers
In addition to her work as editor-in-chief of Angles, Abbe worked to help program numerous women-focused film festivals across the Midwest. These flyers reveal the numerous organizations that Angles collaborated with to promote women's films. Some of the flyers are for events presented by the journal itself, while others are done in conjunction with additional organizations, including Women in the Director’s Chair, an organization that had an annual film festival and had a close relationship with Angles as Gretchen Elsner-Sommer, associate editor of Angles, worked on the committee for it. Other organizations that collaborated with Angles included the Milwaukee Independent Film Society, which co-presented a benefit screening of the Milwaukee documentary short Death of a Corner Drugstore.
