Expanding Film Culture’s Field of Vision

For every Cinema 16 screening, Amos Vogel prepared program notes that described and contextualized the films. The notes also included other information for the audience, like the results of a member questionnaire about Cinema 16 programming. These documents provide a record of the types of films that Vogel selected and how he arranged and framed them in programs.
